Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
The data controller is MGR Casino Chairs, Via della Cooperazione 12, 31033 Castelfranco Veneto (TV), Italy — VAT IT04254650262.
For anything in this policy, write to emmegierre@emmegierre.com or, for certified mail, amministrazione@pec.errequattro.it (PEC). You can also call +39 0423 492102.
What we collect, and why
This site collects personal data only where you type it in:
- Contact form — the details you enter (such as name, email, phone and your message). We use them to answer you and to follow up on your enquiry, including preparing a quote. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Catalogue request — your email address, used to send you the catalogue you asked for. Legal basis: art. 6.1.b GDPR.
- Newsletter — your email address, used to send occasional product and company news. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to us.
Providing this data is never mandatory — but without it we cannot answer, send the catalogue, or subscribe you.
Technical data
Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and to keep the service running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site (art. 6.1.f GDPR). These logs are kept for short periods and are not used to identify visitors.
With your consent, the site may also collect anonymous, aggregated statistics about how it is used. See the Cookie Policy for what is stored in your browser and how to change your choice.
Who sees your data
Your data is processed by the people at MGR who handle enquiries, and by the service providers that run the site's infrastructure on our behalf — hosting and content delivery (Netlify), and the email services that deliver our replies, the catalogue and the newsletter. These providers act as processors under art. 28 GDPR.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States; where that happens it relies on the safeguards of chapter V GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and quotes — for as long as it takes to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards, or for the ordinary retention periods that apply when an enquiry leads to a contract.
- Newsletter — until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
- Technical logs — for the short periods set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under articles 15–22 GDPR you can ask us at any time to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting what was done before.
To exercise any of these rights, write to emmegierre@emmegierre.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Embedded services
Some pages embed content served by third parties: ambient video clips (Cloudinary, Streamable), product videos (YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no tracking cookies unless you play the video), and the 3D chair configurator (Expivi), which loads only when you open it. When you interact with these, the provider may process technical data under its own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts processing data in new ways, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Substantial changes will be pointed out on the site.
